Im looking to study jujitsu, but i also wanted to study another martial art, but don't which one can you help?

http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/9315/te... This should help you make up your mind. Although I don%26#039;t know how any jujitsu student could ever want to study any thing else but jujitsu .... but if you say so man. By the way you%26#039;re not like some low rank Kyu are you? Like say yellow or orange or something?|||What%26#039;s your goal? What do you like?

If you need to cross train to improve your jujitsu - Grapple Competitively: Judo, Sambo, and western Wrestling would be great.

If you want to prepare for MMA - Get Some Striking: Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing

If you want to improve your lethality - Learn Some Dirty Moves: Krav Maga, Systema, other Self Defense styles|||Cross training is good. Where and how you do it depends on your goals.

First, ask your instructor. Many prefer you focus on one art until you get your basics down. It can be confusing to hear conflicting advise as a beginner in two different classes. You instructor will also be able to advise you on what kind of cross training would benefit you most.

Then take that info and run it through the filter of your goals before choosing.|||The best by far is Shotokan Karate. It was developed in ancient Japan for the sole purpose of defending yourself for real. It teaches you to fight against multiple targets, against weapons, and is taught by the Bushido code (way of the worrier). students. What ever you do, don%26#039;t learn Taekwondo. The don%26#039;t let real Karate students fight in full contact because they would literaly kill someone.|||i recomend BJJ or Judo, Maybe even both because then you will have a hell of an upper hand because your learning everything twice basically

later on once you have the controll, learn to lose it

take up muay thai, boxing something like that so if you want to do some visiable damage you can|||I would do one of the arts that have roots from jujitsu, as they will compliment each other well. Wado-ryu Karate, Judo, Aikido, BJJ, etc.
