I want to learn krav maga and MMA(Muay Thai and jujitsu) and want to do some weight and cardio training...?

Is that a good combo for being healthy?|||It certainly sounds so, but what condition are you currently in? The two martial arts you mention require decent levels of strength and fitness (in particular), so if you have been living a sedentary lifestyle, I%26#039;d take 6 weeks and hit the gym. You could do upper body weights on a monday, cardio on tuesday, lower body weights wedesday, cardio thursday, upper body friday, cardio saturday, then rest on sunday. Then repeat (puttin lower body first this time). After 6 weeks of this you should have a basic level of fitness to tackle martial arts. Remember to look at your diet also, increasing your protein etc. If you have the finances for it, I would hire a personal trainer to advise you. If not, google is the answer (although takes a little more work, but it is free!)

good luck!|||Being healthy takes more than just Exercise. These types of training are great for cardio etc but you have to eat correctly and live a fairly clean way of life to be healthy.

If you are disciplined enough this shouldn%26#039;t be hard, but it takes hard work and a lot of effort to keep that style of life :)

G/L|||MMA fighters are the best conditioned athletes in the world, so yes! If you are going to compete Krav Maga is useless for anything other than cardio as far as MMA is concerned. Pressure point fighting is not allowed by any state athletic committee and nobody is gonna have a weapon in the ring, I hope|||yes muay thai is good for your stand up learn how to throw good elbows, knees low kicks and high kicks and fists and brazilian jiu jitsu is best for submission fighting ground fighting these two right here pretty much makes up mma judo is also a very good cardio workout|||Cardio and luck alone are enough to be healthy.

You want health and discipline?

You can%26#039;t just be a tough guy.
