Are hapkido and jujitsu style joint locks legal in wrestling?

any move that causes pain, or the possibility of damage like, armbars, kimuras, or leg lock like should be stopped if the ref know wtf he is doing, since all those moves are considered %26quot;potentially dangers%26quot;, but since most high school refs suck u will probably be able to get away with alot of illegal things,

neck cranks are legal in high school wrestling, as long as u have one arm, trapped between ur arms and his neck, and ur arms must be positioned below his elbow when the meet other wise its an illegal hold,

there are plenty of moves that are used in grappling arts that can be used in high school wrestling, some of those are the twister ( guillotine), spladle or banana split, u can also do arm triangle chokes , darce choke, as long as u have arm in u can mess around and see what u can get away with

now depending on what kind of ref u get it will affect what move you could do, i have had refs stop, and restart a match bc a kids arm was getting bent to far back while he was defending the the half nelson,

here is a great example of what happens when refs dont know what kind of dangerous position wrestler get in,

the guy in the green dose a perfect set up for a knee bar/leg lock when the other guy has ur back, and the guy in the orange dosent know any better so he is trying to spin out, while the green guy is spinning as well, basically the guy get heel hooked, check out the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2EHGKTn0...|||No they are not. Many of the things that you could otherwise do are not allowed. Bending your opponent%26#039;s hand back for instance requires you to have all four fingers and a ref will step in and warn you if you bend it to far back and can deduct points from your score for repeatedly doing something that you have been warned about. In wrestling it is all about either getting more points for various things like putting your opponent in a near fall situation where he is at risk of being pinned, points for take downs, reversals, escapes as well as ending a match by pinning him. There is no submission or choke outs. |||It depends on what kind of wrestling you are talking about.

The objective of most people%26#039;s concept of wrestling is a pin, not a submission (tap out.) |||Are wrestling techniques legal in hapkido?

Nope|||No. I%26#039;ve asked. One of the many reasons I don%26#039;t join the wrestling team (another one is spandex).|||I don%26#039;t think so, I think neck cranks are legal though/
