Should I do jujitsu if I already wrestle for MMA?

If I already wrestle, should I do another ground fighting style? Shouldn%26#039;t I focus on standing combat?|||DO JUIJITSU! everyone knows a wrestlers biggest weakness is when hes on his back. but if your comfortable on your back and if you have tight juijitsu you should have no problem fighting of your back, and i would consider you a well rounded fighter. Focus on your ground game first...than move to Striking.|||Id do some CSW (combat submission wrestling) or bjj, not necessarily for the techniques because if your a good wrestler you would most likely be on top throwing punches, but for knowing what a submission fighter can do to you from different positions and for learning how to defend it.

yeah id do stand up too it is very critical, all it takes is one punch to end your fight, and make your advanced ground game you worked hard for a waste of time.|||Yes, you%26#039;re definitely gonna need to do some JiuJitsu or Submission Grappling -- if nothing else, so you have some basic submission defense. You%26#039;ll probably pick it up pretty quickly, since you%26#039;re likely to be good at takedowns, sprawling, scrambles, and have a good base from your wrestling.

Still, having standup as your main focus isnt a bad idea. Be a sprawl and brawl fighter. Nonetheless, you need to know what to do, just in case the fight does hit the ground. Like, if the guy pulls guard on you, and you%26#039;re not aware of his possible attacks, you could easily fall into a trap and get swept or submitted.|||Probably standing combat since you already have experience with the ground submission, do muay thai, boxing, kickboxing. I would do standing combat so you have an equal balance of skill. But if you can take guys down to the ground really quikly, then take jiu jitsu so you can choke them out, etc.

Hope this helps..............|||muay thai would be a great form of stand up. but wrestling and jiu jitsu are so extremly different imo. i wrestled in high school for 3 yrs. i have now done bjj for 3 and love it. my wrestling gave me a strong foundation but wrestling alone just doesn%26#039;t give you enough. i would look into a good bjj school. some advice on a school : look for a good school preferably black belt instructor. and dont go out of your way to look for a gracie school. any school can be just as good. i train at 2 schools a gracie and another. love both completly different styles. try out classes see what fits u best
