For an adult novice in jujitsu, how many times a week would you train? Avg lesson costs and start-up costs?

Depends on what you can afford but twice a week is average in the beginning but as you progress three times a week would be ideal.

I live in the UK so here it can be either paying as you attend class ( recommended ) or block bookings paying monthly ( not recommended ) as jiu-jitsu can be quite demanding especially break falling which is the main reason people quit in my experience, also injury%26#039;s are very frequent at novice and intermediate level regardless of Jiu-jitsu style or club so don%26#039;t let anyone fool you,if you choose block booking you will lose money at some point due to injury or not making class for whatever reason.

Block booking is the modernised method of the old contract system ,dont get conned into the idea that you can attend unlimited classes ,as you cant attend whilst injured think about it. Any club worth their salt will let you pay as you attend.

Prices here in UK vary between 拢3-拢5 per Class

And uniform between 拢20-拢100 depending on quality.

Sorry for being blunt, but hope this advice helps :)***|||The place I went was $60 a month for 3 times a week, but in my experience that is dirt cheap for martial arts training. I would expect to pay at least $100 a month most places.|||at least 3 times if possible.most clubs will either allow you to pay by the lesson or by the month.if you pay by the month you can train as many classes as there are.
